De-Stress Yoga

We are giving EVERYONE a chance to find time and space to put themselves first and relax their minds and bodies.

On Tuesday, June 8th,  2021 @7:30pm-8:30pm, the Trojan Activities Board is hosting yoga instructor Sophia Dodd to lead a de-stress yoga class in honor of finals starting soon, along with other stressors that could be going on in people's lives.

Do you want to begin developing a daily routine of breathing and yoga practice?
Maybe a reminder on how to do some stretching positions?

This class is inclusive and fitting for any skill level. So, whether you go to yoga weekly or you don’t even own a yoga mat, this class is perfect for you! Research has shown that yoga helps you relax and fall asleep at night, which we all know is very important for our mental health. A poor amount of sleep can make it really difficult to deal with minor stress. Yoga is also known to make people feel increased mental and physical energy, a boost in enthusiasm, and fewer negative thoughts. According to the National Institutes of Health, there is scientific evidence that yoga supports stress management, mental health, and mindfulness. Join us virtually to take some time to de-stress your mind and body. Remember, taking care of yourself is productive.

Snag the opportunity with EvCC’s free yoga class and learn some moves you could incorporate!
