“Braking Borders” was a documentary depicting wars, racism and stolen land in different parts of the world. A journalist and famous chef gathered both sides of conflicting parties to discuss their issues over a meal. This was the beginning of bringing the two allies together for the first time. My sculpture was based on the freedom to come and the importance to human life. This specific piece depicted the buildings and property. The method used for the ceramic piece was slab building and incised in areas for texture.
