Annapurna is a wheel formed, Raku fired ceramic vessel. The pattern was inspired by a the cross section of a banana plant and was incised onto the vessel at a leather hard state. The name “Annapurna” is derived from the Sanskrit: “Anna” meaning, “food” and Purna meaning “full, complete and perfect”.
