I created this WPA National Park serigraphed poster to promote the park I did research on. Haleakalā (meaning “House of the Sun” in Hawaiian) is a dormant shield volcano with one of the world's largest volcanic craters. Viewing the sunrise from the mountain peak is one of the most popular reasons to visit Haleakalā National Park.
