There's a familiar warmth, laying there on the hood of your car, staring out across the universe while it stares back at
you. Ad infinitum. At peace, you are as a cog in the machine, part of a purpose in the grand scheme. All along you
were meant to be laying right here, right now. Everything feels right and looks better than you ever could have
imagined. Eventually, like all things, the warmth fades and you're left feeling cold and alone in the world.
Insignificantly small. The stars have always been there, and you'll always love them, but things have changed now.
As you lie there, about to quit, a meteorite tears across the sky. Its magnificence grabs you, reminds you of why you
stayed, so you wait, hoping for more. But you’re just left waiting. As your fingers turn blue, you fall asleep. With

the arrival of dawn, so comes the pain in your neck and a hazy memory of the night. You’d like to think you won’t
fall in love with something so silly as the night sky again, but you can’t control your heart.
