Description:

One of the major ideas in hand building with clay is to use a technique to build a piece - slabs, coils, pinching, etc - and then to hide that technique so that your piece shows through. I’m in love with teapots so I decided to make a slab teapot that really glorified the slabs: the flat surfaces and corners.
