Earn tuition-free credit this summer!

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has expanded access to the Running Start program to provide additional flexibility for participation during Summer quarter in addition to the standard academic year. Summer Running Start is now open for a maximum of 10 college credits to students completing the 10th grade and those in 11th and 12th grades with available annual average full time equivalent (AAFTE)!

Students utilizing the Running Start fee waiver in the 2023-24 academic year will have the fee waiver applied for Summer 2024. New Running Start students who are eligible for the Running Start Fee Waiver must submit their fee waiver requests by the 10th day of the quarter.

Students who do not qualify for the Summer 2024 Running Start funding are welcome to register for Summer courses paying full tuition and fees out of pocket.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Students who have not participated in the Running Start program at EvCC prior to Summer 2024 must complete the Running Start application process.
  • Students must meet with their high school counselors regarding Summer 2024 Running Start before the summer break!
