College Hours of Operation

Most EvCC offices are now open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays during the academic year, and Monday through Thursday during the summer. Please visit the Campus Calendar for important dates, holidays and planned campus closures. Emergency closure information can be found at EverettCC.edu/Emergency.

Exceptions to Regular Office Hours

  • Evening hours for Student Success Technology are canceled on May 6 and 17.
  • Transitional Studies and BRIDGES hours vary during orientation June 10-14.
  • Campus Safety & Security Closed on Friday, May 17 and Friday, May 24.

Advising

Entry Advising for New Students

Once you’ve applied to the college and received placement, you’re ready for online advising. Download the zoom app to connect with us on a computer or mobile device for drop-in advising. You will be added to the virtual waiting room. 

Advising for Current Students

Meet with your faculty program advisor to check in and stay on track for degree completion. Program Advisors are here to help you plan your next quarter's classes and beyond.

Look up your program advisor by logging into Starfish and clicking on "My Success Network."  Contact a program advisor through Starfish or by using the faculty directory. If you do not find a program advisor in your network email advising@everettcc.edu.

Your program advisor can help you:

  • Create a quarter-by-quarter plan for the degree or certificate you wish to complete
  • Talk about your major and career possibilities
  • Select classes
  • Stay on track to graduate!

If you are considering changing your program, you can explore your options using the Career Coach site and scheduling a career counseling appointment through our  Counseling and Student Success.

Financial Aid/Scholarships

Provides information for students and parents regarding financing their education and refers students to potential funding sources.

Food Pantry

The EvCC Food Pantry is a student-led and organized free service available to EvCC students and employees experiencing food insecurity. Assistance is available by appointment or walk-in in Whitehorse Hall, 290.

Internet - Drive-in Wi-Fi at EvCC

EvCC Wi-Fi access is available for drive-in use in in parking lot E near Whitehorse Hall at the college’s main campus in Everett. 

EvCC’s Wi-Fi expansion is part of a statewide initiative to expand digital access, which includes more than 600 drive-in Wi-Fi hotspots statewide. You can find free Wi-Fi access throughout the state on this map.

Library Media Services

Online research support available includes numerous databases and streaming options for articles, books, audio  and videos, as well as research assistance, a virtual tour, online information literacy course and tutorials. Placement for New Students

Most new students are required to get English and math placement before registering for classes. You can submit alternate placement or take the Accuplacer placement test online.

Transitional Studies

The Transitional Studies division is home to the High School 21 program, High School Completion, GED, U3, and English classes. Along with our pre-college programs we offer a wide range of support that will help to get you closer to a college degree! 

TRiO

TRiO Student Support Services at Everett Community College is a federally funded program that provides academic support services to eligible participants. 

TRiO uses a combination of in-person and Zoom appointments, but you can also reach us through Google Hangouts, email, and Starfish. Current TRiO students can book appointments with their advisors via their respective YouCanBookMe links; prospective TRiO students should connect with us by phone or email to get an application or for more information.

Tutoring Center

Free online academic/tutorial support to students enrolled in courses offered by EvCC in many subjects from science to math and more.

Veterans' Resource Center

Serves as a liaison between Everett Community College and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Workforce Funding

The Workforce Funding department’s mission is to increase opportunities for adult learners by providing access to financial resources through grant programs. We contribute to the college’s retention efforts by providing wrap-around support services to our students to foster educational excellence.

Writing Center

The Writing Center helps students with any kind of college-level writing from any class, along with scholarship and university applications and resumes. Students can access Zoom-based Writing Center assistance Monday-Thursday. Schedule an appointment through Starfish on the Writing Center's service page.
