Please note that we will only be offering expanded alternative placement until 9/30/2022

Expanded Math Placement:

We have expanded our Math placement to include any high school math class completed within the last 5 years instead of 2. Students that do not have access to their high school transcripts will be placed into Math 76. Students with foreign transcripts may be asked to submit translated transcripts and course descriptions/syllabus in English to determine level.

Eligibility:
Students cannot have taken the Accuplacer within the last two years.

Process:
1. Obtain a copy of your unofficial high school. Students who completed a math class in high school within the last five years and earned a C+ or better in both semesters (in the same year) may be placed from their high school transcript.  If you do not have a high school transcript, please submit the form without any attachments for placement into Math 76.
2. Submit a Placement Form and high school transcript to Enrollment Services.

Note: If a student is currently in their second semester of a math class, along with a high school transcript that indicates their first semester grades the student must provide a current grade report that indicates that they are earning a C+ or better to request an alternative math placement.
