Tell me a little bit about yourself, including the degree or certificate you earned from EvCC.

I earned my associates in Arts & Sciences DTA

Why did you choose EvCC?

I chose EvCC because I had an opportunity to continue my soccer career while also continuing my education and it was an opportunity I could not pass on.

What do you plan to do next?

I plan on continuing my education at Western Washington University to pursue a bachelors degree in Exercise Science while also being the Assistant Soccer Coach at EvCC.

What interested you about your area of study?

I have always had an interest in exercise science, since I took a sports medicine class in high school. I knew I wanted to stay connected to the sport I love - which is soccer - so that is why I chose to study exercise science.

How do you think the skills you learned at EvCC are helping you reach your goals?

The skills I have learned at EvCC include: time management, organization, and patience. These skills will help me as I continue my education and in my workplace, because these are basic skills that lend well to success.

Describe the best experience you had at EvCC.

The best experience I had at EvCC was being a part of the Women’s Soccer team, and gaining true friendships that will last throughout the years.

Who has helped you succeed at EvCC? What did that person do to help you?

My soccer coach, Nicole Nsa, has played a huge role in helping me succeed while being at EvCC - whether it was helping me select classes, offering tutoring, or simply listening and giving advice

What advice do you have for new students?

My advice to new students is to enjoy your experience at EvCC! Focus on your education, but also have fun with it - you’re only in college for so long, so it’s important to get out there, meet new people, and make it the best experience possible.

What was your experience like being a part of EvCC Athletics?

Being a part of EvCC Athletics was such an amazing experience! It was great being able to be a part of a group of athletes who support each other. All the staff were amazing, and always helpful. EvCC is a special place, and it was an honor to be a part of the Athletics department.
