EvCC 2022 Outstanding Graduates celebrate with President Dr. Darrell CainWhat did you study at EvCC?

Communication

Why did you choose EvCC?

I returned to EVCC during the Covid-19 pandemic because it was the perfect option for me to be close to family at home and it provided all the courses I needed to transfer to a 4 year university, online!

Who helped you succeed at EvCC? (faculty member, staff). What did that person do to help you?

I am thankful for all of my teachers at EVCC who not only challenged me, but inspired me to grow in the field of communication!

What advice do you have for new EvCC students?

A piece of advice I have to new EVCC students is get involved as much as you can, and don’t be afraid to reach out for help, having a support system is extremely important.

What do you plan to do next? (Job, transfer, etc.)

I am now attending the University of Washington- Seattle and pursuing my Bachelors degree in communication studies! I want to pursue a career in the field of social media marketing.
