Earth Week: April 23rd: Solar/ Renewable Energy & Environmental Issues

April 23rd, Jackson Conference Center rooms 101 & 107. We will have guest speakers presenting about Renewable Energy and Environmental issues. Please see the speaker list and times below for more information. There will also be a raffle for neat prizes! You must sign up in person to enter the raffle, but do not have to be present to win.

STEG Club Meeting

The purpose of the STEG (Science & Technology Explorers Guild) club is to provide students with the opportunity to explore their interests in STEM through student-led activities. The planning of these activities serves to develop students' leadership, planning, and organizational skills.

The mission of STEG is to facilitate student growth and interest in STEM, with the goals of student development, networking, and expanding students' awareness of the possibilities within STEM.

The club meets every Wednesday from 12-1pm in Whitehorse Hall, Room 238. All are welcome!

Announcement: Officer elections for 2025-2026 year will be held on 4/23/2024. We are planning to go to the Seattle Aquarium in May.

Students for Environmental Action Club

The purpose of the Students for Environmental Action (SEA) Club is to actively work to promote environmental awareness and take action to address climate change.

Our mission is to educate and inform students, staff, and community members about environmental issues and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information about our environment. SEA also actively participles with other community organizations working towards addressing environmental concerns.

The club meets every Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 pm in the Japanese Cultural Resource Center (JCRC). All are welcome!

Our Aviation Maintenance Technology School and Advanced Avionics programs offer stackable certificates and associate degrees. Day and evening cohorts are designed to offer added flexibility and accessibility for working students and students with families. All students must attend a free information session before entering our Avionics program. Trojan Softball hosts Skagit Valley College

Wednesday, April 23rd, has the Trojan Softball Team hosting Skagit Valley College. The first game of the league double header against the Cardinals starts at 4:00pm, with the second game starting about 30 minutes after the completion of the first game (around 6:00pm). Both games will be played at the Everett Boys & Girls Club - 2316-12th St. in North Everett, on Gaffney Field.  Admission is free for all.

Join us for a night of community, culture, and connection at Everett Community College’s Round Dance, hosted by the First Nations Club & Diversity & Equity Center! An evening of honoring traditions, building relationships, and celebrating Indigenous resilience.

Local vendors — support Indigenous artists, makers, and small businesses

Earth Week: Tree Planting Event

EvCC Tree Planting with SnoCo Conservation District. Join the EvCC Sustainability office. SEA Club and the Snohomish County Conservation District for a tree planting event on the Index Lawn. We will be planting trees donated by SnoCo in the planting beds. Tools, PPE and materials will be provided so come join the fun!
