Students interested in study abroad or work/study abroad opportunities are encouraged to research possible scholarships, fellowships, and internships which may help them reach their goals.  The EvCC Financial Aid web pages have links to a variety of general scholarship sources.  Below is a sampling of scholarship resources specifically designed for study abroad.

National Security Education Program (NSEP/BOREN)

Freeman Asia Scholarships
Awards for East and Southeast Asian countries.  www.iie.org/programs/freeman-asia 

Gilman International Scholarships
This scholarship offers awards for undergraduate study abroad for students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at two- or four-year colleges or universities.  www.iie.org/gilman 

Alfa Fellowship in Russia 

WISP (Work Immersion Study Program in Germany) 
This scholarship program for community college students includes three months work/study immersion program in Germany.

CBYX (Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals) 
The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) for Young Professionals is a year-long work-study scholarship program with a strong focus on cultural exchange.
