Tuition Waiver

EvCC offers students who are part of our High School 21+ and High School Completion program tuition waivers that reduce the cost of college level courses by 75%. Our goal is to help reduce financial barriers and increase access to college while you are working on your high school diploma. Below you will find the waiver requirements and how to get set up!

Requirements-

  1.  Students must be 19 years of age or older. 
  2. Qualify for in-state tuition rate.
  3. Not have a High School Diploma.
  4. Not receive Financial Aid.
  5. Cannot be applied towards ELA/TS classes.
  6. Cannot be used for self-support classes.

For more information or to apply for your tuition waiver, please make an appointment with our High School Completion team at evcchsc.youcanbook.me. At your appointment, you and your instructor will create a clear roadmap to a college level degree or certificate and together you can select classes that may be a great fit for this waiver.

Microscholarship

Students who have earned a high school diploma or GED from EvCC within the last 2 years are eligible for a scholarship to help reduce the cost of college level classes! Feel free to check out our scholarship requirements below and connect with our team when you're ready!

Requirements-

  1. Must be a Washington State resident.
  2. Have earned a High School Diploma or GED from EvCC (or have taken an EvCC class that prepared you for the GED). 
  3. Completed a FAFSA
  4. Cannot be applied towards ELA/TS classes.
  5. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA and completed all attempted courses.
