Cosmetology Program Outcomes

Execute hair care services for all types of hair, nail services on natural nails, and basic skin care services for a diverse clientele, student body, and models.

Demonstrate customer service skills, self-marketing, resume and portfolio building, and the basic knowledge of starting one's own salon business.

Implementation of decontamination control and sanitation procedures used for the protection of the client and the operator.

Pose the necessary skills to pass the Washington State licensure written and practical exams required for a professional license to work in the Cosmetology industry.

Identify common disorders and diseases of the hair and scalp, nails, and skin.
