Physical Sciences Department

The Physical Sciences Department comprises the disciplines that study non-living systems: Astronomy, Atmospheric Science, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, Natural Science, Oceanography and Physics.

Physical Sciences faculty and staff work closely with the allied Life Sciences and Mathematics departments to offer a comprehensive curriculum that supports students intending to transfer into math, science, engineering, or health-science majors; as well as providing general education courses for students seeking a firm math and science background for other fields of endeavor.
