Shelby Burke

Shelby Burke began working at EvCC in 2012 as the front desk fiscal technician in the Budget & Accounting Services Department and has worked her way up to Vice President of Finance. As the leader of all things financial at EvCC, she has worked to improve collaboration and transparency through the annual budget process, align financial decisions with the college’s strategic plan, and achieve a balanced budget through several challenging budget cycles

Long-time Everett resident Erica Dias is the Associate Vice President of Campus Operations at Everett Community College. She oversees the teams that keep campus running and is working on two major projects right now that will change the face of EvCC and north Everett.

Ed Alexander

In his work as the Executive Director of Technology Services, Ed Alexander manages the team that creates and supports a vast majority of the technology experience at EvCC. "Knowing that EvCC’s technology platforms assist a diverse community of students to achieve that new degree, certification, or transfer gets me into the office each day," he says. 

Kristen McConaha

Kristen McConaha has a big job: She leads both fundraising and corporate/continuing education as Executive Director of College Advancement and the EvCC Foundation. Her work is all about providing what students need to achieve their educational goals. She says: “Being part of the process that ensures resources are distributed to promote inclusivity is incredibly gratifying.” 

Cathy Leaker

As the Vice President of Instruction, Dr. Leaker oversees all instructional programs from accounting to welding. She loves working at an institution where equity is at the heart of what we do. She says: "I feel really lucky that I have the opportunity and the power to make changes, so that day by day, student by student, we get better at delivering the education and services that our students need and deserve.
