EvCC Social Media Guidelines

We encourage you to use social media as a way to connect with other Everett Community College students and alumni around the world, to network, and to share resources and information of interest to the Everett Community College community.
 
The Everett Community College Marketing and Communications monitors posts and comments to our social media communities in conjunction with any authorized faculty, staff, or administrator participating in a social media community.
 
Please be aware of our guidelines when participating:

1. Respect Others

Sexist, racist and other discriminatory comments or images will be removed. Users are free to discuss topics and disagree with each other, but please be respectful of others' opinions. Posts must comply with EvCC’s non-discrimination policy:

2. Keep it Clean

Posts with obscene or sexually explicit language or photos may be removed at the discretion of Marketing and Communications.

3. Keep Your Contact Information Personal

For your own safety and security, please refrain from posting personal contact information (home phone numbers, mailing addresses, personal email addresses, etc.).

4. Don’t Spam

We encourage you to use the space as a way to share information about college news and activities. However, commercial advertisements, solicitations and promotions are not allowed and will be removed by Marketing and Communications.

5. Stay on Topic

We encourage open discussion among members of our social networking communities; however, postings that are deemed irrelevant to Everett Community College may be removed at Marketing and Communications' discretion.
