Intergenerational Violence and Breaking the Cycle - Domestic Violence Awareness Week Workshop

During Domestic Violence Awareness Week there will be an "Intergenerational Violence" Workshop held in Gray Wolf Hall 364, on Thursday, October 24 from 1-2pm. This workshop is presented by Domestic Violence Prevention Education/Community Outreach Coordinator Gina Loh.

“Intergenerational Violence and Breaking the Cycle” will explore ways violence is normalized through attitudes and belief systems. Participants will explore difference influences that enable violent behavior across generations, through identification of risk and protective factors. The goal of the workshop is to re-examine the ways violence is justified in relationships, and to develop ways we can serve as healthy relationship role models.

If you or someone you know is being affected by domestic violence, get help now 425-252-2873.

Free snacks will be provided.

Together, with your help, we can create a world where domestic violence is a term of ancient history.
