Disability Resources Event

Do you have test anxiety? Did you know you can go to the Center for Disability Services and ask for help? Extra time for exams, registering for classes early, accessible materials such as books in large print or braille, are just some of the accommodations Center for Disability can provide. Think you can only go if you have specific paperwork? The Center for Disability Services will work with you on a case by case basis to determine your eligibility for accommodations.

Ever just been curious about disabilities in general, and how we can make your campus or workplace more accessible? If so, come join us at 12 pm - 2pm in the Whitehorse Hall Lobby area. We will have a CDS representative who you can ask questions to! We will also be giving out FREE copies of the book “Demystifying Disability: What to Know, What to Say, and How to be an Ally by Emily Ladau. Come snag a copy while supplies last! Along with some free cool stickers, snacks, along with other resources! If you have ever at all been curious about the Center for Disability Services or have ever thought of stopping by to ask a question, this would be a great opportunity!

If you are not able to make it but still would like to contact CDS, feel free to stop by PSU 268 in person, or send an email to cds@everettcc.edu, or text 425-382-8565.
