On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, the last enslaved African American people were freed.

 

Please join the Diversity and Equity Center, and the Black Affinity Group to celebrate the holiday. We will have music, food, and historical information about Juneteenth.
