Password Policy Update

Based on current best-practice and security standards, the EvCC Campus Accounts Password Policy will be changing this Summer 2019. The current plan is for the new password policy to go into effect on Friday, July 12th.

The new policy includes 2 major changes to your current campus account password.

• Minimum password length will be 15 characters (previously minimum of 8 characters)
• Password lifespan will be 180 days (previously set to 90 days)

Other password complexity will remain included 3 of 4 character types and not using your name/username as part of the password.
