Get ready to throw some pies and have a good time while supporting a great cause! The Latinx Student Union (LSU) is hosting a carnival-style pie-throwing fundraiser to raise money to attend an upcoming Latino leadership conference. This event is open to everyone and promises to bring a few afternoons of fun, fundraising, and community building to the Parks Student Union.

The pie-throwing fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, January 30 and Wednesday, January 31 from 12-2pm in the Parks Cafe. LSU board members have signed up to get pied at the cost of: 1 pie for $3, 3 pies for $6, and 5 pies for $9. Not only will you get to throw the pies at your favorite LSU leadership, but there will also be a scoreboard tracking the highest pie throwing scores! The people with the highest scores will win a fabulous prize from Buenos Diaz Coffee, the campus espresso stand!

Come help LSU raise money to attend a Latino leadership conference and get to know the club members. The Latinx Student Union is a friendly, safe, supportive, and empowering community for Latinx students from different cultural and racial backgrounds, who seek to promote Latinx culture and raise awareness of issues within the Latinx community through cultural, academic, and social events. The LSU is dedicated to promoting Latino culture and leadership, and this fundraiser is a great opportunity to support their mission while having a blast.

So, mark your calendars and get ready for a fun-filled day of pie-throwing and community building. We hope to see you at the event!
