Black History Month: Dante King Workshops

Dante King portraitEvCC's Equity & Social Justice Division and the Equity and Social Justice Committee are pleased to welcome acclaimed scholar, educator, author and speaker Dante King to EvCC as part of our Black History Month observances.

Dante King, author of "The 400 Year Holocaust," untangles the complexities of whiteness, anti-blackness and racism, and particularly illuminates the systemic and often subtle structures that perpetuate inequality. His work also unveils the cultural forces at work behind the backlash against the tools of academic theoretical inquiry and academic freedom itself.

Mr. King will present on Feb. 28 and 29 on "Examining the Organizational and Brand Value of Whiteness, Racial Politics, and Anti-Blackness in America."
