"Clash of Trades" Watch Party

Watch a team of Everett Community College students compete in season 4 of ProjectMFG's Clash of Trades advanced manufacturing reality series on YouTube or at a campus watch party!

The four-part NASCAR themed Clash of Trades series premeried on YouTube on July 12. Three Advanced Manufacturing Training and Education Center (AMTEC) students, led by machining instructor and coach Darin Chase, competed in the regional and national rounds. The episodes featuring EvCC are posted on YouTube July 26 and Aug. 2. Watch online with us at ProjectMFG's YouTube channel.

The Project MFG Clash of Trades competition, now in its fourth year, is a testament to real-world advanced manufacturing prowess. Schools nationwide vie for the prestigious title and a chance to claim the $100,000 grand prize. The competition hinges on the mastery of skill sets such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining, and CNC milling techniques, culminating in the creation of products to exact specifications provided on the day of the competition.
