Join us for a “Live Concert featuring Murphy” on February 19 from 2 - 3 pm in Parks Cafe. EvCC students can also enter a Free Drawing for 2x $25 VISA gift cards at the end of the performance! We are bringing you Murphy, an American Idol star whose soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics have won over hearts nationwide. Murphy, a talented singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland, is a songsmith with a remarkable journey that few have experienced. For the past 8 years, he has traveled across the nation, performing his distinctive blend of folk, soul, and rock and roll on the streets of America, captivating audiences from New Orleans to Santa Barbara and New York to LA. In 2020, after moving to Seattle, Washington, Murphy auditioned for American Idol , quickly becoming a fan favorite with his powerful performance of his original song, The Painted Man. Following his departure, fan support was so overwhelming that he was invited back to perform in the show’s 2021 finale. Now, Murphy continues pursuing his dream of making music that touches lives, inspired by those who have made a difference in his life. With millions of social media fans and his debut single, The Painted Man, set for release in early 2022, Murphy is excited to continue sharing his heartfelt music and stories on his ongoing journey.
