CCEC Class Refund and Changes Policy

Notification of cancellations or changes to your registration must be received by our office at least four working days in advance of your class or the Rapid Track start date to receive a refund or class change. There will be no refunds or changes for any reason if you notify us less than four days of the class or Rapid Track program start date. If a class is canceled by Corporate & Continuing Education Center after registration a full refund or schedule change will be issued. Allow 30 days to process refunds. College in the High School and EvCC credit-bearing classes have separate provisions, fees, rules, requirements, policies, deadlines, and procedures.

Satisfaction Guarantee Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with one of our classes or were not able to attend due to an emergent situation, you may repeat the class one time, *tuition-free, for up to one year, as long as there is space available and the course is still offered. Valid picture identification required. Call Corporate & Continuing Education Center at 425-267-0150 for information. (Ed2Go and EvCC credit-bearing courses are excluded from this policy.) *fee increases and material costs may be applicable.

Satisfactory Completion Terms

CCEC non-credit classes issue a letter grade of S or U. Satisfactory completion, "S", requires a minimum of 70% attendance, active participation, and completion of learning objectives. Students are responsible for their own academic success and for communicating with their instructors about their learning needs.

Certificate Terms

Non-credit certificate programs at Everett Community College represent programs of study in specific content areas. Classes are not offered for academic credit and generally, with limited exception, courses cannot be counted toward an academic degree.

  • Enrollment & Admission. There are no formal entry requirements or application processes for non-credit certificate programs. Enrollment in CCEC classes is offered continuously throughout the year. Students sign up via web, phone, mail, or in person. Classes can be paid for on a per-class basis or at once through Rapid Track enrollment.
  • Completion requirements. Students must attend class 70% of the class sessions for each class and satisfy any additional requirements specified in the course syllabus. The certificate must be completed in three (3) years.
  • Awarding of Certificate. After completing all listed requirements for the certificate, the student must submit a request for certificate through our online form.

Parking

Parking fees for the dates and times of your class are included in your Corporate and Continuing Education Center’s (CCEC) registration fees for non-credit courses, and are valid for CCEC courses held at Everett Community College main campus and Cascadia College locations. Your parking permit will be included in your class notification, which will be e-mailed to you within four (4) days prior to the class start. Permits must be clearly displayed on the driver’s side dashboard. Permits are not valid in reserved, carpool, visitor or metered spaces. Students are responsible for using the parking pass provided and for paying any tickets resulting from parking violations. Permits are not required at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland.

Registration Provisions

The provisions stated here are not to be construed as a contract between the student and Everett Community College. The college reserves the right to change any provision, fee, rule, requirement, policy, deadline, or procedure whenever necessary. Changes may apply not only to prospective students, but also to those currently enrolled. Advance notification will be given to students whenever possible.
