Financial Aid Festival!

Still looking for ways to pay for classes this fall? One of the most common ways to pay for college is through financial aid. You can apply for financial aid by filling out the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). The WASFA is only for undocumented and select non-citizens who are Washington state residents. If you’d like help filing your FAFSA or WAFSA, consider joining us for an upcoming financial aid workshop to get started!

We know that financial aid and scholarship applications can be…well…boring. That’s why Everett Community College is proud to bring you Financial Aid Festival!, a financial aid workshop done the EvCC way. Picture it now: You and your friends are surrounded by all-you-can eat tacos, listening to a live DJ set, while applying for financial aid to fund your education … It sounds like something out of a movie.

Well, we decided to make it a reality by hosting our first Financial Aid Festival! on August 16, 2024 at Gray Wolf Hall on EvCC’s campus. Not only will you get one-on-one help with your FAFSA and WAFSA application, but you will also get to experience:

  • FSA ID explanation
  • Assistance in English or Spanish
  • Food catered (Vegan options available)
  • A live DJ set

We will be hosting two Financial Aid Festival! workshops in August. Register for one of the dates below to get reminders about the workshop, learn more about what to bring with you, or request any accommodations you may need to attend:

Financial Aid Festival! - Friday, August 16, 2024 - 2-6 PM
Financial Aid Festival! - Saturday, August 24, 2024 - 11 AM-2 PM
