Here’s How to Apply to Everett Community College (EvCC)

Important Admission Dates and Deadlines

Spring 2025 Quarter
Quarter Starts April 7, 2025. Admission applications are open until April 4 at 12:00pm for Spring 2025.

Summer 2025 Quarter 
Quarter Starts July 1, 2025. Admission applications are open until June 30 at 12:00pm for Summer 2025.

Fall 2025 Quarter 
Quarter Starts September 22, 2025. Admission applications are open until September 19 at 12:00pm for Fall 2025.

If the application deadline for your desired quarter has passed, please apply for the next available quarter. You can then email us at admissions@everettcc.edu to request a change to your start quarter.

    Attending college involves various costs, including tuition, fees, transportation, parking, books, and supplies. The first step in securing financial assistance is to complete the free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application helps determine your eligibility for federal and state grants, loans, and work-study programs.

    There are many ways to help you pay for college. Here are a few options to look into.

How to Complete Your Admissions Application

  1. Set Up or Log Into Your Account
    Everett Community College uses the statewide Community and Technical College admissions application system. Begin by visiting the Online Admission Application page and clicking "Create an Account." You'll set up a username and password to access the application.

    If you already have a ctcLink account, log in using your ctcLink ID and password. This applies to anyone with a ctcLink ID from any Washington Community and Technical College.

    International (F1 Visa) students seeking an I-20 should apply through International Student Programs. Learn more here.
     

  2. Begin Your Application
    Use your newly created username and password, or your ctcLink account, to log into the Online Admission Application. From the drop-down menu, choose Everett Community College, and then click "Start Application."
     
  3. Choose Your Student Type
    Scroll below to find the option that describes your situation:
    • First Year Student: If this is your first time attending college.
    • Reapplying Student: If you’ve previously attended Everett Community College but haven’t enrolled in classes in the past year.
    • Running Start: For high school students applying for the Running Start program.
    • Transfer: If you’ve attended another college and want to transfer credits to Everett Community College
        
  4. Pick Your Program of Study
    Choose the program that best fits your academic goals. If unsure, select the closest match—you can update this later. Options include:
    • Academic: For those pursuing an associate degree.
    • Baccalaureate: Please refer to BAS Accounting How To Apply page.
    • Non-Award Seeking: For students not pursuing a degree or certificate.
    • Professional Technical: For degrees or certificates in fields like nursing, accounting, or business administration.
    • Transitional Studies: For pre-college level coursework, such as a GED or high school diploma
        
  5. Decide When to Start
    Select the academic quarter you wish to begin your studies.
     
  6. Choose Your Degree or Certificate
    From the drop-down menu, select the degree or certificate you aim to complete. Like your program of study, this can be changed later if needed.
     
  7. Click "Apply"
    Clicking "Apply" will take you to the next section, where you’ll enter your personal information.
     
  8. Provide Personal Information
    Complete all six sections in the "Personal Information" section. While your Social Security Number isn’t required, including it may speed up processing. Sections include:
    • Citizenship:
      • Select “USA” for the country.
      • Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) should choose “United States” for the country and then “Permanent Resident” for Citizenship Status.
      • For further clarification, refer to the Citizen Status for Admission Application section. You can learn more about residency here.
    • High School Information: If your high school isn’t listed, select "Add School/College" and manually input the name, country, state, and city.

    • Washington Residency Questions
    • Supplemental Questions
    • Review and Submit
       
  9. Final Review and Submission
    Carefully review your application for accuracy. Once satisfied, click "Yes, I accept" and then "Submit Now."

    Great! You’ve successfully completed the online admissions application. A welcome letter will be sent to the email address you provided once your application is processed.

Letter of Admission from Everett Community College

We're excited to welcome you to Everett Community College! Once your application is processed, you'll receive a letter of admission with your ctcLink number sent to the email address you provided in your application.

Didn't receive the email? Here's what to do:

  1. Check your application status: Log back into your application account and review the 'Application Summary'. Make sure the Institution is listed as 'Everett Community College' and the Application Status is 'Submitted'.
     
  2. Wait 4 business days: If it's been more than 4 business days since you submitted your application and the status is still 'Submitted', contact registration@everettcc.edu for an inquiry. Be sure to include your full name, date of birth, and application number in your email.
     
  3. Check your spam folder: If you haven't found the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folders.

When should I apply?

We are accepting applications up to one year out. We recommend that new students apply with enough time to complete all of our Get Started steps and be ready for open registration.

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. It can take up to two weeks to get through the complete list depending on availability. Don't wait! Apply today!

Recommended dates new students should apply to compete New Student Get Started steps and be ready for the first day of open registration:

  • Summer 2025: May 20, 2025
  • Fall 2025: May 20, 2025
  • Winter 2026: October 29, 2025
  • Spring 2026: February 10, 2026

Student with An Associates, Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate.

We are excited that you have chosen EvCC to take additional classes. Please note that all students must apply via our online admissions portal.  Once you receive your letter of acceptance, you will need to:

  1. Establish placement with copies of your unofficial transcript and our online placement form
  2. Please note that if pursuing a certificate or degree, you will need to meet with an Entry Adviser. If you are only taking one class and do not plan to earn a certificate or degree with EvCC, please email us at admissions@everettcc.edu to remove the block.
