IRS 1098-T Tuition Statement
Tax Credits for Your Tuition Payments
Note: You will not receive a 1098T for the tax year if your Grants/ Scholarships including disbursements exceed any self-paid tuition.
By January 31, eligible students enrolled at EvCC will have access to their 1098 -T electronically (if consent has been selected) or it will be mailed to the address on file. You can review your 1098-T IRS Tuition Statement to help you determine whether the tuition and fees you have paid qualify for higher education tax credits.
It is the responsibility of the student and/or individual tax payer to determine their eligibility and the deductible amount of tuition/fees. If financial aid paid your tuition in full, you are not eligible to receive a 1098-T.
