EVERETT, Wash. – Everett Community College (EvCC) is hosting a free event to educate community members about fentanyl addiction prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery and community supports at a resource fair Sept. 20.

Join us from 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 at EvCC’s Walt Price Student Fitness Center, 2206 Tower St. Everett, WA 98201 for one of 26 Facing Fentanyl Together events taking place across Washington at the same time.

The Department of Social and Health Services is working in partnership with the Department of Health, Health Care Authority, tribes, counties, business partners and community partners in this effort, aimed at preparing community members to respond to the opioid and fentanyl crisis for themselves or loved ones.

Each Facing Fentanyl Together resource fair is being planned and hosted by Local Planning Areas (LPAs), partnerships that connect, coordinate, communicate and plan activities and projects together so people across Washington can succeed.

EvCC’s event will feature:

  • Resource fair and giveaways
  • Live presentations
  • Narcan demonstrations
