Join the Trojan Nation in participating in Election Day! For democracy to work for all of us, it must include us all. This election, you can make your voice heard and ensure we all have a say in our democracy. 

Ready: Register to Vote

In order to vote in Washington, you must first register. Once you are registered, make sure your voter registration information stays current so that you receive the correct ballot on time.

If you are not eligible to vote, you can still make your voice heard by encouraging others. Share this page with your friends!

Set: Voting Begins Oct. 18

Oct. 18 is the start of the 18-day voting period through Election Day in Washington state. Ballots are mailed out, and Accessible Voting Units are available at voting centers. 

Vote: Election Day is Nov. 5

Make sure your ballot is postmarked or dropped off by 8 p.m.

  • Starting Oct. 7, 2024: Voters' pamphlet mailed
  • Oct. 17, 2024: Local ballots mailed
  • Oct. 28, 2024: Last day for voters to register or update voter information online or by mail in Snohomish County
  • Nov. 5, 2024: Election day! Last day for voters to register or update voter information in person. Last day for voters to return voted ballot.
  • Nov. 26, 2024: Snohomish County election certification
  • Dec. 5, 2024: State of Washington election certification
  • Dec. 17, 2024: Electoral college convenes
  • Jan. 6, 2025: Congress counts electoral votes
  • Jan. 20, 2025: Presidential inauguration day
