Join the ASB Senate

Student Senate Process:

The Student Senate process is outlined in Article IV of the ASB Constitution By- Laws requires that the student complete the steps as listed below in the following order:

Complete the Senate Application
Submit a letter of recommendation OR get 30 signatures from currently enrolled EvCC students and 2 signatures from members of Executive Council.
After confirmation from the ASB Vice President of Administration that the Senate Application and grade check has been approved you will attend two consecutive Senate meeting as a non-voting member. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of Executive Council on continuing the prospective senator packet.
- At the Senate meeting you will introduce yourself and present your SMART Goal to the senate.
- Following the senate meeting please email your SMART Goal to the ASB VP of Administration.
The ASB VP of Administration will contact you to schedule a new senator orientation to go over the job description and expectations.
Once the orientation has taken place the prospective senator will attend the senate meeting as a newly appointed member if there is room on the senate.
