Everett Community College’s Aviation Maintenance Technician School will offer aviation maintenance and advanced avionics classes during second shift for the first time starting Fall quarter. Aviation maintenance classes will be offered 3 to 9:30 p.m. Advanced avionics classes are 3 to 9 p.m. The school, which also offers a daytime cohort with classes 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., is training students for in-demand jobs. The 2017 Boeing Pilot and Technician Outlook forecasts that between now and 2036 the aviation industry will need more than 648,000 maintenance technicians.
