Voices of EvCC - Mohamed Amer

Mohamed Amer is an international students attending Everett Community College through a special scholarship sponsored by the Department of State and an educational consortium called Community Colleges for International Development (CCID).

As part of their program, the CCID students earn a certificate in a chosen field, participate in leadership activities, do service learning in the community, and have mentor families from the community who help them negotiate American life.

Mohamed is from Egypt and is studying Public Relations and Communication Studies.  He shared his favorite memories as an international student in Everett on March 18, 2010.  Listen to his complete story.
