Voices of EvCC - Carl Delica

Carl Delica Carl is a current EvCC student in the Nursing Program. He has attended the college for the past two years, and has found the school to be far more than he originally anticipated. He has found there are numerous opportunities for growth and has seen much growth in himself in his time here.

Carl has been pleasantly surprised by the dedication of the staff at Everett Community College. He believes the instructors want their students to succeed. “If you put yourself into it, they will try to help you get what you want.”

Carl was also surprised by the numbers of non-traditional students attending the college. These students are older, with numerous responsibilities that he himself does not. They are employed and raising families, and seemingly “have to work to much harder than those without so many responsibilities.”

Listen as he describes his experiences with EvCC faculty, and find out what he'd say to encourage other students to continue their education. (1.11) Audio Icon
