Closing at 4:30 p.m.: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Food Drive 2024

Update: The food drive is closing earlier than planned, at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 17.

Celebrate the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service at Everett Community Drive with a food drive to collect items for a local food bank in the EvCC community. We can all do our part with sustainable community practices and battling one of the largest equity gaps in the state of Washington today, the hunger gap. Dr. King believed that even though fighting for racial justice was important: Why does it matter if someone is able to sit at a lunch counter or not based on their race if the person is not even able to afford food to eat there? This event is open to all EvCC students, staff, faculty, admin, and campus community!

Location: Cascade Learning Resource Center (1001 N Broadway, Everett, WA 98201)
