Delta Air Lines partners with EvCC aviation maintenance technology program

Delta Air Lines will work with Everett Community College’s aviation maintenance technology program to help meet the industry demand for aircraft maintenance technicians. EvCC was one of 38 schools nationwide selected for the Delta aviation maintenance technician training partnership after an evaluation of the program’s curriculum. “To be partnered with a commercial airlines as part of their workforce pipeline demonstrates not only our capabilities as a program, but our willingness to respond to their training needs,” said EvCC Associate Dean of Aviation Rob Prosch. “The partnership will open many doors to good-paying jobs for our students.” Aviation maintenance technicians, also known as aircraft mechanics, are responsible for keeping aircraft in peak condition.
