COVID-19 Vaccine Attestation
Effective Winter quarter, EvCC will no longer require students to attest their vaccination or exemption status, though some programs, such as healthcare, may require vaccination as part of Federal regulations. Winter quarter registration will not be blocked due to vaccination attestation status. Visit the EvCC Covid-19 and Return to Campus page for more info.

Exemption Requests
Students may request an exemption to the vaccine requirement due to medical conditions or sincerely held religious beliefs. Under the state’s updated Higher Education proclamation, students may not request an exemption for philosophical reasons.
To request an exemption, there are two steps:
1. Login with your ctcLink ID and password using a desktop computer or laptop. Please do not use a mobile device (the system won't save attestation information submitted with a mobile device). From the Student Homepage, Click on Immunization Attestation. Use the drop-down menu to select the reason you are requesting an exemption.
2. Complete EvCC’s online COVID-19 safety training. The training is available to everyone. Your exemption request is not approved until the training is complete.
Questions and Answers
What does attestation mean?
Attestation means something is true or authentic. When you complete the COVID-19 vaccine attestation, you're required to agree (or "attest") to the truth of the information you have provided.
I am not taking any in-person classes. Do I need to complete the COVID-19 immunization attestation or request an exemption?
Even if you are taking classes online, you will need to complete the online immunization attestation form prior to participating in any in-person college activities, such as meeting with a staff member, visiting the library, or attending an athletic event, so we encourage you to complete it now. If you are not attending any EvCC classes or activities in person, you do not need to submit an immunization attestation.
I am requesting an exemption. Do I need to submit any documentation?
No. Completing the attestation form does not require submitting documentation, and you will not be able to upload any documents through the attestation form.
I already submitted a immunization attestation or exemption. Do I need to submit another one?
If there have been any changes since you completed your form, such as getting the COVID-19 vaccine, please resubmit the immunization attestation. If there have not been any changes since you have submitted the form, you do not need to resubmit.
I am a Running Start student. Do I need to complete the immunization attestation form or request an exemption?
Yes, Running Start students do need to complete the immunization attestation form or request an exemption.
I had the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, but I have not completed my second dose. Can I attend classes in person?
Yes. Thank you for starting the vaccination process! If you have only completed one dose of your two-dose vaccine sequence, submit your immunization attestation with just the date for your first shot and get your second dose as soon as medically possible. Once you have received both doses, please email lfranklin@everettcc.edu with the date of your second shot and we will update your attestation form.
Can I request an exemption from vaccination due to philosophical reasons?
No, due to a change in the state Higher Education proclamation, vaccinated campuses can only offer exemptions for medical conditions and sincerely held religious beliefs.
I am a student employee. Do I complete the student attestation or the employee attestation form?
Student employees must complete both forms. Please talk with your supervisor if you have any questions.
Why is EvCC collecting information about vaccination status and exemptions?
As a vaccinated campus, EvCC is required to collect that information under state higher education guidelines.
Why does EvCC want students to get vaccinated?
COVID-19 vaccination is one of the most important tools to end the COVID-19 pandemic. Millions of people in the United States have received COVID-19 vaccines under the most intense safety monitoring in U.S. history. To protect the health and safety of our college students, faculty, and staff and our community and fully return to in-person classes and activities, EvCC is encouraging students and employees to get vaccinated.
Will my instructor or other students have access to my vaccination status or exemption request?
No. The information is confidential.
I cannot be vaccinated or do not want to be vaccinated. May I request a disability accommodation from EvCC’s Center for Disability Services?
No. Please submit your exemption request via EvCC’s COVID-19 Immunization Attestation form. Inability to receive a vaccine is not, in and of itself, a disability and thus is not accommodatable.
I've received the vaccine booster(s). Can I update my vaccine information?
Vaccine booster information can be updated in CTC Link Immunization Attestation selection and selecting "Other Covid-19 Vaccine".
