Advancing Workforce Education
The Advanced Manufacturing Training and Education Center (AMTEC) celebrated its 10th anniversary of excellence in manufacturing technologies, with EvCC’s machining team earning a national spot in the prestigious Clash of Trades finals.
Expanding Academic Opportunities
EvCC launched its first Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Accounting with 17 students and received state approval to develop a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science to meet growing industry demand.
Investing in Innovation
EvCC’s first makerspace, opening in Spring 2025, will feature cutting-edge tools, promoting interdisciplinary creativity, hands-on learning, and community engagement for all students.
Supporting Student Success
EvCC secured a national Achieving the Dream grant to grow adult learner enrollment while Open Doors awarded 90 credentials, including diplomas and industry certifications, to students without high school diplomas.
Strengthening Equity and Inclusion
Over 40% of EvCC’s 50 new hires this year identified as racial or ethnic minorities, advancing goals of representation and equity within the college’s workforce.
