Open to all EvCC students, The Associated Student Body (ASB) Senate Meetings are held in Gray Wolf Hall, Room 156 and virtually from 2:30-4:30pm. The ASB Senate meets to discuss student issues and concerns at both the college and state level, as well as conduct business which includes the student budget proposals, reports on the college and Senate committee work, and provide feedback to the College Administration. Come provide input, share concerns, and gain valuable leadership skills, while enhancing your resume, college and scholarship applications. Trojan Volleyball hosts Bellevue College - SOPHOMORE NIGHT |

On Friday, November 1st, the Trojan Volleyball Team will host the Bellevue College Bulldogs for the last home league match of 2024 on Sophmore Night. The first set in the 3 out of 5 match against the Bulldogs will start at 7:00pm in the Walt Price Student Fitness Center - 2206 Tower Street. Before the match begins, we will recognize our Sophmores and thank them for their hard work and dedication to Trojan Athletics for the past two seasons, as well as wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Our Sophomores are: Halle Wilkinson - Makenna Linehan - Annika Mason - Jessica Eames - Alli Hillyard and Cadynce Knudson. Tickets for the match may be purchased at the north doors.

Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony |

Enjoy the tranquility of a traditional Japanese tea demonstration in an authentic tea room! Generously funded by the Japan Foundation New York, presented by the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Seattle Association, and hosted by the EvCC Japanese Cultural Resource Center. Guests will enjoy the unique opportunity to experience Japanese tea FOR FREE in the JCRC's beautiful tea room. Sessions includes a traditional flute performance in the JCRC garden, a bowl of special green tea called matcha, and a delicious confection. Space is limited, and students have priority. Trojan Men's Soccer hosts NWAC 1st Round Playoff vs East #3 |

The Trojan Men's Soccer Team has secured their #2 spot in the North Region with their record of 8-2-1, and 25 points going into their final league game on Wednesday, October 30th at Skagit Valley College. With that 2nd place finish, they will host a 1st Round Playoff game in the 2024 NWAC Championships. They will take on the 3rd place finisher from the East Region. It could either be Columbia Basin College, Walla Walla Community College or the Community College's of Spokane. The East Region final standings all come down to what happens in their final games on October 30th. This 1st Round Playoff game will take place on Wednesday, November 6th at Everett Memorial Stadium and start at 12:00pm. The winner of this game will then travel to the South #1 to play a 2nd Round Playoff game on Saturday, November 9th. Right now it could either be Rogue Community College or Lane Community College. Again, it all depends on what happens in their respective games on October 30th. The game will be held at Everett Memorial Stadium. Entrance is from the South Parking lot (turn off of Broadway by Gourmet Latte) only. Tickets for the games may be purchased at the gate.

Trojan Cross Country at 2024 NWAC Championships - University Place, WA |

On Saturday, November 9th, the Trojan Men's & Women's Cross Country Teams will travel south to University Place, WA to participate in the 2024 NWAC Cross Country Championships. This year's Championships are hosted by Pierce College, and will be held at Chambers Creek Regional Park. The Women's 5K race begins at 11:00am with the Men's 8K race beginning at 12:00pm. Per the NWAC site - "The course is run on the Sport & Event Lawn of Chambers Creek Regional Park at Chambers Bay Golf Course which has about 45 feet of total elevation gain. The Pac-12 Championships were held on this course in the spring of 2021 and the course served as the host site of the 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country West Regionals." With their First Round Playoff 2-1 win on Wednesday, November 6th over the Sasquatch of Community College's of Spokane, the Trojan Men's Soccer Team have advanced to the 2nd Round of the 2024 NWAC Playoffs. They will leave Friday, November 8th for Medford, OR. On Saturday, November 9th, the Trojans will take on Rogue Community College, South Region 1st place team. The game with the Osprey will begin at 7:30pm at the Lithia & Driveways Fields. The winner will advance to the Semi-Finals that will take place on Friday, November 15th at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, WA. Rogue Community College is located in Grants Pass, OR, however they play their home soccer games at Lithia & Driveways Fields. Alongside these refreshments, participants can personalize their sketchbooks with a variety of decorating materials provided by the Art Club. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend your day, this event is designed for everyone. In a calm and inspiring environment, participants will learn how to transform simple materials into stunning, illuminated works of art. Not only will you walk away with a beautifully crafted luminary, but you'll also gain valuable skills in design and crafting techniques. As the lanterns glow with the essence of nature, they serve as a perfect reminder of the beauty that surrounds us. All necessary materials, including luminary kits and a diverse selection of pressed fall leaves and tissue paper and other craft supplies, will be provided, ensuring that everyone can unleash their creativity. On Sunday, November 17th, there will be two All-Star Soccer games before the 2024 NWAC Championship games. The Women's All-Star game will be at 9:00am and the Men's All-Star game at 11:00am. Trojan Women's Soccer players that were voted onto the North Region First Team will be able to play in the All-Star Game. Sophomore Alexis Bell was named as a First Team Forward and Sophomore Ruby Wacker was named the First Team Goalkeeper. Freshman Chloe Parker and Freshman Genesis Molina Escobar were named to the North Region Second Team. Trojan Men's Soccer had three players voted onto the North Region First Team, and will play in the All-Star Game only if they don't make it to the NWAC Championship Game. On Friday after Thanksgiving - November 29th, the Trojan Men's Basketball Team will be traveling south down to Longview, WA to participate in the 2024 Red Devil Classic hosted by Lower Columbia College. This is a three day, double elimination tournament in Myklebust Gymnasium on Friday, Nov. 29th to Sunday, Dec. 1st. The Trojans first game is 5:00pm vs Southwestern Oregon Community College on Friday. Their game on Saturday is dependent on how they do on Friday. They must win at least 1 game either Friday and/or Saturday to advance to play on Sunday.
