Open to all EvCC students, The Associated Student Body (ASB) Senate Meetings are held in Gray Wolf Hall, Room 156 and virtually from 2:30-4:30pm. The ASB Senate meets to discuss student issues and concerns at both the college and state level, as well as conduct business which includes the student budget proposals, reports on the college and Senate committee work, and provide feedback to the College Administration. Come provide input, share concerns, and gain valuable leadership skills, while enhancing your resume, college and scholarship applications.

If you would like to become an ASB Student Senator, you must meet the minimum requirements & complete the "self-elect" process:

Enjoy the tranquility of a traditional Japanese tea demonstration in an authentic tea room! Generously funded by the Japan Foundation New York, presented by the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Seattle Association, and hosted by the EvCC Japanese Cultural Resource Center. Guests will enjoy the unique opportunity to experience Japanese tea FOR FREE in the JCRC's beautiful tea room. Sessions includes a traditional flute performance in the JCRC garden, a bowl of special green tea called matcha, and a delicious confection.

The Trojan Men's Soccer Team has secured their #2 spot in the North Region with their record of 8-2-1, and 25 points going into their final league game on Wednesday, October 30th at Skagit Valley College. With that 2nd place finish, they will host a 1st Round Playoff game in the 2024 NWAC Championships. They will take on the 3rd place finisher from the East Region. It could either be Columbia Basin College, Walla Walla Community College or the Community College's of Spokane. The East Region final standings all come down to what happens in their final games on October 30th. 

This 1st Round Playoff game will take place on Wednesday, November 6th at Everett Memorial Stadium and start at 12:00pm. The winner of this game will then travel to the South #1 to play a 2nd Round Playoff game on Saturday, November 9th. Right now it could either be Rogue Community College or Lane Community College. Again, it all depends on what happens in their respective games on October 30th. 

The game will be held at Everett Memorial Stadium. Entrance is from the South Parking lot (turn off of Broadway by Gourmet Latte) only. 

Tickets for the games may be purchased at the gate.

EvCC’s Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Accounting degree next cohort starts Fall 2025. You can earn your associate degree at Everett Community College or elsewhere, then enroll in the new bachelor of applied science accounting degree program, which is taught by EvCC faculty. The BAS is a 90-credit, career-focused program designed for those who have already completed a 90-credit associate degree, or who have the equivalent college-level credits–for a total of 180 credits. The purpose of Connect Ai, is to facilitate knowledge, exposure, awareness, and practical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI/Ai) and analysis with a variety of inputs to solve real-world challenges while building a community with students and honorary members at all experience levels, to empower and connect them with their passion for AI and its impact.

Our mission is dedicated to inspiring its members to connect through various activities such as workshops, discussions, projects, guest speakers, and events. We'll explore the latest AI tools, functions, and trends for practical application and advancement across dimensions, including business, STEM fields, and other areas, for our members to stay relevant in AI and information technology, ensuring their purpose for social good.

On Saturday, November 9th, the Trojan Men's & Women's Cross Country Teams will travel south to University Place, WA to participate in the 2024 NWAC Cross Country Championships. This year's Championships are hosted by Pierce College, and will be held at Chambers Creek Regional Park. The Women's 5K race begins at 11:00am with the Men's 8K race beginning at 12:00pm.  

Per the NWAC site - "The course is run on the Sport & Event Lawn of Chambers Creek Regional Park at Chambers Bay Golf Course which has about 45 feet of total elevation gain. The Pac-12 Championships were held on this course in the spring of 2021 and the course served as the host site of the 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country West Regionals."

In a calm and inspiring environment, participants will learn how to transform simple materials into stunning, illuminated works of art. Not only will you walk away with a beautifully crafted luminary, but you'll also gain valuable skills in design and crafting techniques. As the lanterns glow with the essence of nature, they serve as a perfect reminder of the beauty that surrounds us.

All necessary materials, including luminary kits and a diverse selection of pressed fall leaves and tissue paper and other craft supplies, will be provided, ensuring that everyone can unleash their creativity.

Snacks and drinks will be provided, bring your EvCC friends and have a wonderful time creating your own piece of art.

The deadline to drop with a W or change to an audit for any Fall 2024 class is 11:59 p.m. on November 15.

On Sunday, November 17th, there will be two All-Star Soccer games before the 2024 NWAC Championship games. The Women's All-Star game will be at 9:00am and the Men's All-Star game at 11:00am. 

Trojan Women's Soccer players that were voted onto the North Region First Team will be able to play in the All-Star Game. Sophomore Alexis Bell was named as a First Team Forward and Sophomore Ruby Wacker was named the First Team Goalkeeper.  Freshman Chloe Parker and Freshman Genesis Molina Escobar were named to the North Region Second Team. 

Trojan Men's Soccer had three players voted onto the North Region First Team, and will play in the All-Star Game only if they don't make it to the NWAC Championship Game. Freshman Alhagie Ceesay was named First Team Forward, Sophomore Cristiano Whitaker was name First Team Mid-Field and Sophomore Dilon Spahia was named First Team Defender. Freshmen Lunden Fenster and Brock Larsen were named to the North Region Second Team. 

The four winners of the Semi-Final games from Friday, November 15th, will meet up and play in their respective Championship games on Sunday, November 17th. The Women's game at 1:30pm and the Men's game at 4:30pm. The Women's teams playing could be - Bellevue College Bulldogs or Columbia Basin College Hawks vs the CC's of Spokane Sasquatch or the Peninsula College Pirates. The Men's teams playing could be - EVERETT TROJANS or Clark College Penguins vs Walla Walla Warriors or Peninsula College Pirates.   All Semi-Final, All-Star and Championship games will take place at Starfire Sports Complex, main field.

Transgender Day of Remembrance & Resilience (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence and also to celebrate the resilience of a community that continues to advocate for the human rights of all trans and nonbinary individuals. On 11/20/24 from 9 am to 5 pm, please visit the Summit Room in the Cascade Learning Resource Center to gather, honor, and remember those who are no longer with us, as well as find resources and community.
