TICKET SALES: Baile de Flores - Formal Dance

Join the Latine Student Union (LSU) in celebrating the end of the Spring quarter! Baile de Flores will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Everett Community College, Walter Price Fitness Center. 

This formal dance will be an opportunity for everyone to celebrate some of the national flowers from Latine countries. LSU is committed to creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere to share our culture & history for members of the Latine community and those who wish to support.

This event is open to all college students attending EvCC and the student community from surrounding colleges and universities. Guest students must be 18yrs+ and must provide proof of age. All students, please bring a student ID or other forms of student verification when purchasing tickets for the event. 

Tickets will be sold cash only, outside of Grey Wolf Hall and at the Cascade Learning Resource Center, first floor on Monday, May 19, from 9-1 pm, Tuesday, May 27, from 9-1 pm, and Tuesday, June 3, from 9-1 pm. Limited supply will also be sold at the door for one hour, sale ends at 7pm.

  • Single Ticket:  $15 EvCC students | $20 Student visitors
  • Double Tickets: $25 EvCC students |  $35 Student visitors

All ticket profits will go towards allowing LSU members to participate in future leadership endeavors.

What is included with ticket purchase?

Doors open at 6pm and close at 10pm. Enjoy some great food and snacks from our multiple Latine vendors. Sit back and eat while watching the Mariachi perform from 7-8pm. Then dance the night away with music from the Live DJ from 8-10pm. Don’t forget to document your experience and the Photobooth too!

Food options: pupusas, tacos, burritos (with vegetarian and halal options too!), aguas frescas, ice cream, and esquite (Mexican street corn).

Our mission is to educate and inform students, staff, and community members about environmental issues and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information about our environment. SEA also actively participles with other community organizations working towards addressing environmental concerns.

The club meets every Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 pm in the Japanese Cultural Resource Center (JCRC). All are welcome!

ASB Senate Meeting

Open to all EvCC students, The Associated Student Body (ASB) Senate Meetings are held in Gray Wolf Hall, Room 156 and virtually from 2:30-4:30pm. The ASB Senate meets to discuss student issues and concerns at both the college and state level, as well as conduct business which includes the student budget proposals, reports on the college and Senate committee work, and provide feedback to the College Administration. Come provide input, share concerns, and gain valuable leadership skills, while enhancing your resume, college and scholarship applications.

If you would like to become an ASB Student Senator, you must meet the minimum requirements & complete the "self-elect" process:

  • Currently enrolled EvCC student
  • Maintain a minimum of five credits
  • Maintain a quarterly/cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
  • Complete the ASB Student Senate "self elect" process.

2025 Science and Engineering Student Exhibition

12-2:30 p.m. Gray Wolf Hall Plaza, Jackson, and surrounding areas

Examine fossils, see pH reactions like a rainbow, and fire turns different colors in the flame test. Try your hand at solar viewing, DIY Dippin’ Dots, dry ice bubbles, and launching water bottle rockets, and so, so much more. This family-friendly event will have fun science and engineering demonstrations, free food, and hands-on activities. All EvCC students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome—come discover the wonders of science with us!

Poster Session and Presentations

Science and Engineering students will show off their research projects at interactive poster sessions and presentations. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite posters; the top posters will win fabulous prizes at the June 12th awards ceremony.
